Do you ever feel like you want to be something specific but for some reason you always avoid doing the very thing that is... that?? That’s how I was with my creative endeavors. I always wanted to make a world of my own but I was too scared. I felt lost without feedback from others on my art and I depended on friends to explore music ideas with because I wanted their validation that I was doing it in the “right” way.

Well, something changed and suddenly the desire to explore my ideas on my own outweighed my need to be “right”. And that’s what Buggie is all about: Exploration rather than Perfection. It's about giving myself permission to creatively explore any path I desire. I'm listening to my soul and loving every minute of the (learning) process. Whether sculpting, painting, or playing a melody, these new paths lead me to a world of my own, a place I can call home.

Thank you for allowing me to extend my home into yours. May it inspire you and fill you with delight (or even a bit of discomfort or fright). My ultimate goal is that it will awaken within you... some insight. 💚
